The new normal in dentistry
Firstly, we hope everyone is remaining well and staying safe and we would like to thank all of our patients for their well wishes and support during this time.
We have put measures in place to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, this will have changed the way you experience your appointment we have some guidance below to help with this ‘new normal’.

Prior to your appointment
- Where possible we will take payment via the phone to reduce contact at reception.
- Please complete your updated medical history using our online forms.
- Kath, Hayley or one of the team will call you to triage any dental concerns and assess your covid-19 risk factors.
- Please get in contact if you develop any symptoms. Do not come to the practice.
The day of your appointment
- Before arriving please brush your teeth at home.
- Please wear a face covering and only bring essential items.
- Telephone when arriving, if not possible ring bell to speak to Kath, Hayley or one of the team on reception.
When you enter the practice
- Use the hand sanitiser provided. You will be met by a member of staff at the door who will guide you to the surgery.
- Attend alone where possible. Please observe social distancing.
- Please keep all your belongings with you.
Inside the surgery
- We will be wearing enhanced ppe as you will be within 2 meters.
- A secure place will be arranged for your belongings.
- Treatment will be carried out with the usual care and attention however extra steps may be required.
After your appointment
- We will return your possessions and ask you to use hand sanitiser.
- Contactless payment will be preferred or over the phone.
- Further appointments will be arranged online/via email or telephone by Kath, Hayley or one of the team.
